East Sussex Minors
 | This site details a vast range of spares and
services available for Morris Minor owners. There are many
such suppliers but I think this site is one of the best. |

Kaprun Austria
 | I have spent a number of holidays at this
resort. This site is translated from German and gives details
of this all year round resort. I have walked extensively in
the mountains around Kaprun and should like to take my mountain bike
there one day. There are also good road biking routes.
Ideally I should like to take two bikes but I shall have to
compromise and use the mountain bike for road work since the road
bike can't be used on the off road routes. |

M.G. Car Club
 |
I have been a member of this club since 1984. When I first joined I didn't have an M.G. and the Club didn't have a website! I still have
fond memories of my first visit to the annual M.G. Car Club
Silverstone meeting, even though it drizzled all weekend and I was
staying in my tent! That visit resulted in my decision to
acquire an M.G. Midget and within a month I did just that (Although I
hadn't anticipated things happening so fast!). Some years
later, I had my photograph on the front cover of "Safety Fast", the
club magazine, at the wheel of my Midget. I have also written
an article for Safety Fast. I have also entered some
competitive events organised by the M.G. Car Club. |

Morris Minor Owner's Forum.
 | I must confess that I had never yearned to
own one of these cars in my younger days, but I now look forward to
receiving my bi monthly copy of Minor Matters. The club has
its own website and it is always worth a look. The Morris
Minor is a much more capable car than many people realise and was
a design way ahead of its time. I haven't been in the Morris
Minor scene for as long as the M.G. scene and the car was bought
as a means of transport. However I am an avid fan of these
willing vehicles and the way in which they lend themselves to
maintenance. |

Nelson Cycles
 | This site is one I constructed myself and
gives details of Nelson bikes and cycle frames. The products
shown can be bought on line at
www.cyclebasket.com . |

Practical Classics
 |
This is one of my favourite sites with lots of interesting links.
It has a list of cars manufacturers from over the years second to none
(With details of the models produced). I am also a reader of
Practical Classics magazine on a fairly regular basis.

Severn Valley Railway
 |
I have not visited many of these preserved
railways but I think the S.V.R. will take a lot of beating.
It has the advantage of being run through some very beautiful
countryside and also passes the West Midlands Safari Park.
At its southern end it adjoins the national network at
Kidderminster Station besides having its own car park.
Bridgnorth at its
northern end is a very interesting old town and has its own link
within the Historic Shropshire site. |

Tim Lang Restoration Centre
 |
I have only recently found this site but it looks a good one.
I have recently had a less than satisfactory experience with a well
known Morris Minor specialist relating to a job they did for me.
I do not feel at all confident in asking them to do any more work on
my car in the future and so I have decided to look around for
someone else who is not too far away. This place is worth
visiting. I note they also undertake work on some other more
"Exotic" classics which may indicate that they do quality work.
Therefore I've saved it in my favourites! |

Virtual Shropshire
 |
I very much enjoy this site which I have found as a result of my
visits to the Severn Valley Railway. It covers the places that
were the birthplaces of the Industrial Revolution. It is a
good site for planning visits to the area and this is something I
look forward to doing in the future. |

Dean
Forest Railway
 | A very pleasant preserved railway in the
Forest of Dean. It runs from Lydney Junction (Where the line
is connected to the Railtrack network) to Parkend. Stalwart
of the line is 0-6-0 Pannier Tank engine 9681, which was the first
standard gauge steam loco, behind which I rode. I have also driven
this locomotive. |
